Definitions

Website refers to all online information found on Donahue Publishing's website pages.

Customer, "You," or "Yours" refers to you and/or any individual placing an order on your behalf with Donahue Publishing.

Company, "We," or "Our" refers to Donahue Publishing.

Product refers to all services and goods offered by Donahue Publishing to the Customer in accordance with their Order.

Order refers to a request placed by the Customer, either by telephone, email, or web form, to acquire services or products from Donahue Publishing.

Services

Donahue Publishing provides a range of services, including book writing, editing, publishing, marketing, and authorized SMS communication services related to publishing updates, promotions, and customer support.

Revision Policy

Depending on the service package selected, revisions may be included. Customers are entitled to unlimited free revisions provided the changes are consistent with the original order details.

If new or altered requirements are introduced, additional fees may apply.

Refund Policy

Change of Mind

  • A 100% refund is available if no work has commenced.
  • If the project is canceled within the first 24 hours after work has started, a partial refund may be issued.
  • After the delivery of any project milestone or revision, refund requests are no longer eligible but may be discussed with your project manager.

Incompetent Delivery

Errors during the requirement analysis phase may qualify for a refund after offering revisions and team reassignment (up to three times).

Late Delivery

Standard turnaround time is 10–15 business days per deliverable. If three consecutive delivery deadlines are missed without client fault, a refund will be considered.

Refund Timeframe

Refunds must be requested before final project delivery and sign-off.

Non-Issuance of Refunds

Minor issues such as grammatical errors, slight delays, or formatting preferences will not qualify for full refunds.

Intellectual Property Rights

By placing an order, you confirm that you possess all necessary rights and licenses to use the content you submit. Donahue Publishing is not responsible for any unauthorized use or infringement by the Customer.

Confidentiality

All client information is treated as confidential. Donahue Publishing will not disclose any project-related information to third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law.

SMS Terms & Conditions

1. SMS Consent Communication

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Types of SMS Communications

If you have consented to receive text messages from Donahue Publishing, you may receive messages related to the following:

  • Project updates and milestones
  • Order confirmations and status updates
  • Appointment reminders for consultations
  • Follow-up messages regarding your publishing project
  • Customer support communications
  • Billing inquiries and payment reminders

Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication and your active projects. You may receive up to 4 SMS messages per week related to your publishing projects, appointments, or account status.

4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

5. Opt-In Method

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Donahue Publishing in the following ways:

  • Verbally, during a phone conversation with our team
  • By submitting an online contact form with SMS consent

6. Opt-Out Method

Limitation of Liability

Donahue Publishing is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use of our services, including SMS communications. We make no guarantees regarding outcomes or the performance of third-party platforms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in the State of New York.

Modifications to the Terms and Conditions

Donahue Publishing reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
